C3ntro Telecom enhances network in Mexico with Infinera
C3ntro Telecom has upgraded its data center network in Mexico using Infinera's GX Series solution, enhancing connectivity between Mexico City and Queretaro with a capacity of 1.6 Tb/s.
The deployment of Infinera's ICE6 800G solution and GX Open Line System has allowed C3ntro to improve its long-haul network, interconnecting data centers across the two cities. This upgrade caters to the rising demands of C3ntro's clientele by providing enhanced services in significant Mexican markets.
C3ntro Telecom is a prominent Mexican operator, maintaining a carrier-grade fibre network stretching across 3,000 km within Mexico's major cities.
It offers dark fibre and wavelength services aimed at ensuring seamless, low-latency connectivity for data centers. The network is specifically designed for hyperscalers, carriers, and cloud service providers, featuring redundant infrastructure to support both current operations and future expansions.
The latest deployment allows C3ntro Telecom to enhance its network capabilities significantly, incorporating 100G and 400G wavelengths. This improvement supports high-bandwidth applications across data centers in Mexico and Queretaro, offering robust and future-proof connectivity.
The enhancements cater to growing requirements driven by AI-powered applications and cloud-based solutions, which enable data center operators to provide high-capacity, cost-effective services.
