Teletrac Navman has appointed Sara Epstein as Chief Legal & Administrative Officer, adding a senior executive to its leadership team.

She will oversee legal, compliance, data privacy and governance, as well as People and Culture and Health and Safety. Epstein joins from RxBenefits, where she served as Chief Legal Officer.

The appointment comes as Teletrac Navman reshapes its senior ranks following its acquisition by Respida Capital earlier this year. The company has also recently introduced new products, including Energy Hub within TN360 and its Electronic Braking Performance Monitoring System.

Epstein brings more than 20 years of legal and executive leadership experience across healthcare, life sciences, pharmacy and logistics. Before RxBenefits, she was Executive Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Syneos Health, where she led a global team providing legal and privacy services.

Earlier in her career, she held senior legal roles at Cotiviti Holdings and BlueLinx Holdings after beginning as an associate at Jones Day. She holds a Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School and a bachelor's degree from Tufts University.

Wider remit

The role gives Epstein responsibilities beyond the legal function, extending into workforce and workplace matters. The broad remit suggests Teletrac Navman is placing legal, governance and internal policy issues closer to the centre of its operating structure.

Teletrac Navman provides connected mobility technology for businesses managing vehicle and equipment assets. The company operates globally and is headquartered in Northbrook, Illinois.

Alain Samaha, President & Chief Executive Officer of Teletrac Navman, commented on the appointment.

"Sara brings a powerful combination of legal acumen, business judgment and executive leadership that will help accelerate our strategic initiatives and support our long-term growth," Samaha said.

"Her experience leading global teams and navigating complex business environments will be instrumental as we continue to drive innovation, strengthen our customer relationships and execute on our growth ambitions. We're thrilled to welcome her to the team."

Career path

Much of Epstein's recent work has been in regulated industries, where compliance, privacy and governance demand close attention. That background aligns with the responsibilities she is taking on at Teletrac Navman as the company manages legal and operational requirements across multiple functions.

At Syneos Health, she held a senior legal role with responsibility for a wide range of legal and privacy services across a global team. Her move to Teletrac Navman brings an executive with healthcare and logistics experience into a business serving asset-intensive sectors.

Epstein also commented on the timing of the move.

"I'm excited to join Teletrac Navman at such an important time in the company's evolution," said Sara Epstein, Chief Legal & Administrative Officer of Teletrac Navman.

"The organization has a strong foundation, a talented global team, and a clear vision for growth. I look forward to working across the business to support our strategic priorities and contribute to the next chapter of Teletrac Navman's success."
