Kinetic Business has named three small businesses as recipients of its inaugural Community Champions Awards, recognising their contributions to local communities across the United States. The winners, selected from hundreds of applicants, will direct a total of USD $22,500 to non-profit organisations of their choice.
Award recipients
R.K. Adams Law of Dahlonega, Georgia, took first place for its work supporting marginalised groups. The law firm is known for providing access to legal services for those who would otherwise struggle to afford representation. Founder Robyn Adams is active on local boards and works directly with foster children and people with disabilities.
Anaheim Jack's in Ruidoso, New Mexico, earned second place. During the 2024 wildfires that affected its region, the restaurant remained open and supplied complimentary meals to first responders and utility workers. The business has been highlighted for its response in times of crisis and ongoing community support.
Third place went to Dixie Collision of Lafayette, Georgia. The auto repair company was acknowledged for its efforts in helping customers manage insurance paperwork and ensuring high-quality repair workmanship. The team is recognised for prioritising customer care and addressing challenges beyond standard service offerings.
Nonprofit grants
The awards programme grants USD $10,000 to the first-place winner, USD $7,500 for second, and USD $5,000 for third, all designated for qualified local non-profit organisations selected by the recipients. This funding is intended to help sustain and expand the impact these businesses have in their localities.
Community focus
Kinetic Business designed its Community Champions initiative to highlight small and mid-sized enterprises (SMBs) making tangible efforts to drive social, economic, and environmental changes within their communities. The programme aims to show how SMBs play a crucial role in supporting local needs, from disaster response to ongoing support of under-served groups.
Leadership remarks
"The nominations we received were outstanding and demonstrated the incredible heart and ingenuity of small businesses nationwide," said Cliff Dinwiddie, chief marketing officer, Kinetic Business.
"These winners aren't just succeeding in the marketplace; they are actively shaping stronger, more vibrant futures for their neighbors. We are honored to recognize their commitment and provide resources that extend their positive impact even further," said Dinwiddie.
